BACK LIT: Designed with a metal mounting bracket that’s really made for use with the popular Mini H1 projectors; they’ll fit most every projector out there with minor mods and will add a beautiful ambient glow in virtually any color behind your projector lenses. In combination with our custom lens etching service, you can create one mean looking set of headlights!
COLOR CHANGING: Available in the original straight up RGB flavor, or the new-school RGBW version which is capable of producing a true white. When paired up with the recommended Morimoto XBT Controller & smart phone app, these produce an unlimited array of colors…reds, blues, greens, teals, purples, pinks…you name it!
INTENSITY: Rocking a single big boy 3W LED chip, there’s simply no need for a bunch of LED’s or optical reflectors. As the old saying goes, “there’s no replacement for displacement” and the ColorMorph demon eyes blast plenty of bright light from one big LED to prove it.
SETUP: Their third gen ColorMorph drivers are reliable thanks to many updates over the years. They are housed inside of a sleek, small, and attractive shell that’s been anodized black and laser engraved with our logo. They are completely waterproof and should be good to go for many years of service.
PLUG N PLAY: All wiring is insulated with black and gold PET mesh for an OEM-like appearance, durability, and abrasion resistance. Wire lengths are plenty long enough to run through the back of the housing and out to your controller. Speaking of which, all connections are the 4-pin “RGB” type, so if you plan on using a JST-connector based RGB controller, we do recommend picking up a set of the RGB>JST adapters.
REMOTE CONTROL: First-time users will need to purchase an optional RGB Controller. The Morimoto XBT is recommended for the best performance and color accuracy, has a killer Iphone/Android Bluetooth app, and three channels, which can be controlled independently. The Profile PrismPilot is a more basic RF-based setup that has four channels, but no smartphone app or independent output control.
